Common topics

How do I create a workout?

Open the Workouts area and create a workout using the name you want. Rivid Log is designed without required workout templates, so you can build workouts around your own training.

Can I create multiple workouts and exercises?

Yes. The app is designed to let you create workouts with any names and add the exercises you need without imposing a fixed template.

Can I reuse an existing workout?

Use the cloning functionality to make a copy of an existing workout, then customize the copy without changing the original.

Can Rivid Log raise my weights for me?

Yes. Turn on Progressive Overload in Settings and set a weight increment. When you clone a workout or exercise, sets that reached the top of the rep range get the increment. Increase When chooses whether that's each such set, every set only once all of them get there, or just your heaviest set, and Exercise Overrides gives an exercise its own increment or its own Increase When, or leaves it out. Warm-up sets are never changed.

What if pain stops me from doing an exercise?

Swipe left on the exercise and tap Skip, or tap Skip on its Sets page during a workout. You'll be asked for a note explaining why; the exercise is only skipped once the note is saved. A skipped exercise is marked Skipped, counts as complete, and keeps its sets read-only. When you clone it, its weights carry over unchanged instead of being raised by progressive overload. Swipe left again to undo the skip; the note is kept.

How do I remember how I set up a machine?

On the Sets page, tap the wrench in the title bar. It shows the exercise's current equipment setup with its date, followed by your previous four setups. Tap Add to save a new one; it starts with the current setup so you only change what's different, and the earlier setups are kept. Setups belong to the exercise's name, so they appear in every workout with that exercise and are included in backups.

Does Rivid Log require an internet connection?

No internet connection is required for the app's core workout-logging functions. External links such as this support page open in your device's web browser when you choose to use them.

How do I back up my data?

Use the Your Data section in Settings to export and restore your workout data. Keep important backup files in a location you control.

How do purchases work?

Rivid Log starts with a free 14-day trial, then a one-time lifetime purchase unlocks it—no subscription. Current pricing is shown on the App Store and Google Play, and purchases are processed through the applicable app store. Use Settings → License, or Restore Purchases on the Welcome page, when you need to restore an eligible purchase. Without a trial or license the app is read only, and you can still export your data.

Where can I read the legal information?

See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
