Skip a dose on purpose and it's kept apart from missed ones. Forgot to check one off? Go back to that day and it's logged at its reminder time.
Rotate injection sites
Give a reminder the sites you rotate through, like left and right quad. Each dose shows the next site, and moves on once it's checked off.

Backups you control
Export your doses, reminders, and notes to a file you keep, then restore it by replacing everything or adding to what's already there.
