Common topics
How do I set up a reminder?
On the Reminders tab, tap + and enter the medication or supplement, its form, and each dose, then its times and days: every day, chosen days of the week, or every so many days. Turn on Ends for a course with a last day. Its doses then show on the Today tab to check off.
Why am I not getting notifications?
Rivid Dose asks to send notifications the first time you turn them on for a reminder. If you said no, the Reminders tab shows a notice—tap it to open your device's settings and allow notifications for Rivid Dose. Notifications are also off for any reminder whose bell is turned off, and a dose you've already checked off doesn't notify you.
How do I log a dose that isn't on a reminder?
On the Today tab, tap + on a part of the day, or the floating + button, and enter what you took. Once you've logged a medication or supplement, it's suggested as you type, and picking it fills in its form and dose from the last time you took it.
How does site rotation work?
When you set up a reminder for an injection, topical, patch, or drops, add the sites you rotate through under Site Rotation, in order. Each dose shows the next site, and once it's checked off the next dose moves on to the site after it, then back to the first. If you use a different site when you check one off, the rotation continues from the site you used.
Can I keep notes?
Yes. Add a note about a day on the Notes card of Today (or any day), or about a medication on the Meds tab. A note you add to a dose when you log or change it counts as a note about that medication too. The Notes tab lists every note, and can show only day notes or only one medication's notes. Notes are included in the dose journal and in your backups.
How do I find a past dose or note?
Tap the search icon in the title bar of the Reminders, History, or Notes tab, or of a medication on the Meds tab. You can search by medication, dose details like the site, note text, time or part of the day (like "Morning"), or day or date (like "Monday" or "Oct 4"). On History, the total at the top covers the days found.
Does Rivid Dose require an internet connection?
No internet connection is required for tracking doses or for reminder notifications, which are scheduled on your device. External links such as this support page open in your device's web browser when you choose to use them.
How do I back up my data?
Use the Your Data section in Settings to export your doses, reminders, and notes to a JSON file and to restore them, either replacing everything or adding to what's already there. Keep important backup files in a location you control. You can also print your doses, or save them as a PDF, with Dose Journal.
Does Rivid Dose check my doses or interactions?
No. Rivid Dose is a tracking tool. It does not check doses, interactions, or schedules for safety. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
How do purchases work?
Rivid Dose starts with a free 14-day trial, then a one-time lifetime purchase unlocks it—no subscription. Current pricing is shown on the App Store and Google Play, and purchases are processed through the applicable app store. Use Settings → License, or Restore Purchases on the Welcome page, when you need to restore an eligible purchase. Without a trial or license the app is read only, and you can still export your data.
